Last Minute Summer Vacation Tips | Marck Recycling
Sadly, summer is coming to a close, but there’s still time for one last hurrah. Before school gets into full swing, why not take a little family vacation? Here are some suggestions for your last minute getaway:
- Nashville, TN – What better place to end the summer than the Music City? Nashville has been ranked among the top 10 budget destinations in the world by Budget Travel, making it the perfect trip for families. There are hundreds of concerts and cultural events on the summertime calendar, and many of them are offered for free. Plus, Nashville has a world-class food scene, so there’s something for everyone.
- Great Smoky Mountains, TN – It’s a bit of a drive, but the views are worth it. Great Smoky Mountain National Park is world renowned for its plant and animal diversity and the remnants of Southern Appalachian mountain culture. There’s a reason it’s America’s most visited national park.
- St. Louis, MO – Take in a Cardinals game at Busch Stadium and experience one of baseball’s best venues. Or, sign up for a city tour, and check out all there is to do in historic St. Louis.
- Gulf of Mexico – If you’re feeling really adventurous, head south. The Gulf of Mexico has some of the prettiest beaches in the country, and far less traffic than Miami or Los Angeles. Hop in the car and drive to Orange Beach, Alabama for the ultimate gulf coast family destination.
